National Advisory Council

National Advisory Council
Nominations due July 29, 2012

In 2010, the National Convention voted to establish a National Advisory Council (NAC) for O∆K. The NAC is a group of dedicated members of the Society who represent key constituencies and who advise the Board of Directors on matters related to the Society's well-being. The National Advisory Council is composed of no fewer than nine (9) and no more than fifteen (15) members. The Board of Directors, based on recommendations provided by National Headquarters staff, appoints the members of the National Advisory Council for two year terms each. The NAC is composed of four constituencies: Students, Faculty Secretaries, Faculty Advisors and Alumni. No fewer than two (2) members from each of those groups should be represented on the National Council at any given time. No more than two (2) members from the same Circle may serve on the National Advisory Council at any one time (faculty members are considered to be from the Circle where they serve and not where inducted).

If you are interested in serving on the National Advisory Council from 2012 - 2014, please email a resume and letter of interest by Friday, June 29th to O∆K Associate Executive Director Ken Taylor. The Board of Directors will begin considering nominations and appointing the National Advisory Council following the National Leadership Summit & Convention in late July.

Please select the name of any member of the 2010-2012 NAC to learn more:
