Duties:
- Visits existing Circles; especially those that are “troubled” or inactive
- Makes extension visits to schools to encourage the formation of new Circles
- Provides primary direction and support for the Society’s social media outreach
- Manages the USA Today College Leadership blog.
- Serves as staff advocate for “green” initiatives
Kelly is from Essexville, Michigan and recently graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology. At Ferris State, Kelly served as OΔK Vice President of Activities her junior year and Circle President her senior year. She was an active member of the University Honors program, Student Alumni Gold Club and Pre-Optometry Club respectively. In addition to working in the University Archives for three years, and at The Resorts of Tullymore and St. Ives for two years, she was an avid volunteer throughout the Ferris and Big Rapids, Michigan communities where she recorded more than 400 hours of community service during her undergraduate career.
Kelly has a passion for meeting new people, serving her community and encouraging others to reach their full potential in life. She is very eager to be the next OΔK Fellow and welcomes the opportunity to travel the country to work with some of the best leaders of today and tomorrow.
