Ball State University

About the Circle

Ball State’s circle of Omicron Delta Kappa is small but growing. The circle strives to improve recruitment, our annual leadership conference, and student recognition every semester. Typically, junior and senior students in the top 30% of their class will receive a letter inviting them to apply to join partway through the semester. Applications will be reviewed over the following weeks, then accepted students will be contacted, and the circle will hold an initiation to honor new members.
Our circle’s expectations include participation and engagement in circle activities as well as upholding the ideals of scholarship and leadership as set forth by Omicron Delta Kappa.

Our biggest and best program is our annual All Campus Leadership Conference that we host in February. Students and faculty offer programs about leadership during three break-out sessions, lunch is provided, and there is a keynote speaker at the end of the conference. Students from all over campus are invited to come network and learn about unlocking their leadership potential.
We also hold several fundraisers throughout the year with local restaurants and businesses.
