About the Circle
The Omicron Delta Kappa Society is the national leadership honor society for college students, faculty, staff, administrators, and alumni that recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership, and exemplary character. Membership in ODK is a mark of the highest distinction and honor. Members of the St. Thomas Circle are actively involved throughout the university. The process for becoming a member begins with an invitation that is extended to all juniors and seniors who meet the national ODK requirement of ranking in the upper 35% of their class. Potential members apply and have an opportunity to be interviewed by one our executive board members. The decision to join rests with the applicant and Circle leadership. Members are encouraged to attend monthly Circle meetings and participate in service projects. We also enjoy social time together.
Programs
The St. Thomas Circle enjoys volunteering with efforts on campus and within the local community. We provide volunteer support with Dress for Success, which is a non-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life
