What is Discord?

OΔK’s private Discord server is intended to function as a networking hub for its members. The OΔK Discord server serves as an exclusive platform for members to connect for events, post and search for volunteer, internship, or job opportunities, gain academic support, and socialize with one another free of time zone or scheduling limitations. How to Access Discord
To join the OΔK Discord community, you must read and agree to the terms of our Code of Conduct. Once this is submitted, you will receive an email confirmation with the access link to the server. Discord Channels
The Discord server is organized into several categories to cater to different aspects of community engagement:
- The “Welcome” category is the entry point, offering essential information, community guidelines, announcements, introductions, and a platform for suggesting improvements.
- In the “General” category, members can engage in various discussions, including conference-related chats.
- In the “Circle Talk” category, members in leadership positions in their circles can connect with one another across campuses.
- The “Professional” category provides resources for career growth and education. It includes sections for career advice, academic guidance, networking and opportunities.
- The “Miscellaneous” category promotes social connections with various chats focused on hobbies, photos, and self-care, fostering relationships among members. We plan to expand our channels to meet our members’ needs and wants as we further the community.
