As a Lifetime Member of Omicron Delta Kappa, there are many opportunities to continue your involvement with our Society. More than 750 members volunteer each year to serve as circle advisors, select scholarship recipients and award winners, and help OΔK make decisions about the future. It is also a great way to develop and expand your professional and personal connections to members across the Society. Year after year, our volunteers report that serving the Society is one of the great benefits of membership.
Please be aware that we review volunteer applications seasonally. If you have questions regarding your application, please contact [email protected].

Board of Trustees
Omicron Delta Kappa is a 501(c)3 organization that uses the money it raises to support leadership development programs and provide scholarships to O∆K members. The Society is governed by the Omicron Delta Society and Educational Foundation Board of Trustees. The board is comprised of 28 individuals, including 18 at-large trustees, three elected student trustees, and three elected faculty/staff trustees. The board also includes the National Treasurer, National Counsel, National Diversity Officer, National Leadership Conference Chair, and the President and Chief Executive Officer. At-large trustees are expected to make an annual fund contribution, provide a major or planned gift during their time of service on the board, and cover their expenses to and from board meetings. At-large trustees served three-year terms and may be invited to serve a second term as appropriate.
National Committees
Omicron Delta Kappa is a complex organization with over 20 national committees that do much of the work of the Society. From selecting award recipients to assisting with budget planning, OΔK relies on a cadre of volunteers to provide the best experience for our members. If you have experience in finance and administration, the finance or development committee might be a good fit for you. If you enjoy learning about the skills and abilities of our undergraduate leaders, you might make a great member of our awards committee. Whatever your background, we can find a place for you to serve. Read more about our committees by selecting a link below.
