Many hands make light work. If your time is limited, but you still want to serve the Society, consider any one of these ways to be a national volunteer. O∆K accepts volunteer applications for each of these positions throughout the year. Read more about different opportunities by opening the options below.

Discord Online Community Champion
ODK offers a private, members-only Discord server, which serves as a networking hub for its members. Moderators help to facilitate conversations, address member questions, and coordinate virtual meet-ups within this platform.
National Day of Giving Champion
Our volunteers who support the National Day of Giving are those who help champion annual contributions to Omicron Delta Kappa and act as social media ambassadors by posting about the reasons why they support O∆K on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Use the hashtag #ODKGiving, post photos of one’s leadership journey, and share with O∆K’s National Headquarters (odknhdq@odk.org).
National Day of Service Champion
O∆K is seeking individuals with robust local ties to service organizations who can commit to hosting an in-person National Day of Service opportunity on April 12, 2025, with the intention to catalyze action in our communities and to forge meaningful connections among our members. This team will convene monthly, with a shift to biweekly meetings closer to event dates.
National Leader of the Year Reviewer
The National Leader of the Year review team reads and scores applications for the highest honors given to undergraduate members of the Society each year. The review team works in partnership with the National Awards Committee, and the work of the review team takes place between November and January each year.
Photographer
The National Headquarters team is always in search of pictures to be included in our publications, website, and social media platforms. If you have a good eye for capturing O∆K members in action, please let us know and help build an inventory of images that can showcase the good work done by our collegiate members in print and online.
Scholarship Reviewer
Each year, Omicron Delta Kappa receives more than 200 applications for its post-baccalaureate scholarships. Individuals who have the time to review and rank 20 applications are encouraged to apply to be a reviewer. The work of the reviewers takes place in April and May each year.
Writer for O∆K Communications
As a volunteer, you can help O∆K by writing for The Circle (our magazine) or our website and by contributing blog posts. Feature articles, reflection pieces on leadership, book reviews, and news announcements are all welcome contributions. O∆K generally follows the Associated Press style guide for content.
