Give to the Annual Fund

Would you like to include Omicron Delta Kappa in your annual philanthropic plans? When you give an unrestricted gift to O∆K, you are supporting the primary needs of the organization. These typically include circle support, career resources, and member communications. Unless donors indicate that a gift is restricted, all gifts to O∆K are considered unrestricted. Give now to support the Annual Fund!

Give to the Key Fund

Are you interested in supporting scholarships and the gift of membership for students from underrepresented and historically marginalized racial and ethnic minority groups? The Key Fund also supports the Society’s diversity, equity, and inclusivity leadership development programming.

Give to the Scholarship Fund

Are you interested in helping students continue their educations in graduate or professional school? Give now to the general scholarship fund! With your partnership, O∆K distributes more than $40,000 annually in scholarships to deserving students. Scholarship contributions for outright support of students are always welcome and so is the creation of endowed scholarships.

Give to the Opportunity Fund (Give the Gift of Membership)

Do you want to make sure that deserving college students never have to decline their invitation to join Omicron Delta Kappa as a result of cost? Give to the O∆K Opportunity (Gift of Membership) Fund! Your gift will support the underwriting of a portion of the national initiation fee for collegiate members who are Pell-eligible or who have other significant financial constraints. Through the provision of membership in O∆K, these collegiate members will have access to other programs including scholarships, leadership development programs, and career resources.

Thank you for making an investment in the campus leaders of today, the community leaders of tomorrow. If you wish to make a contribution to a circle-specific endowment or another initiative, please contact Katy Datz, vice president for external relations, at (540) 458-5344 or [email protected]

The Omicron Delta Kappa Society and Educational Foundation proudly supports the programs and activities of O∆K. Through your support, O∆K reaffirms its mission of recognizing and developing campus leaders of today as they prepare to become the community leaders of tomorrow. Leadership education programs, Clay service grants, strategic partnerships and post-graduate internships, and support for the nearly 300 circles on their campuses are provided through your gifts. With your contributions, you are helping to advance the O∆K Idea which still resonates after more than a century.

About the Organization

The Omicron Delta Kappa Society and Educational Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees and is a 501(c)3 organization. The bylaws are located on the About tab under Governance.

The most recent audit of the Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation, Inc. and the IRS Form 990 tax return can be found at guidestar.org.

Unrestricted Gifts
When you give an unrestricted gift to OΔK, we spend your money on the Society’s most pressing needs. The trustees of Omicron Delta Kappa determine their use, typically for general scholarships, leadership programs, and circle support. Unrestricted gifts can go a long way toward providing more freedom for us to focus on introducing new initiatives and programs that will help propel OΔK forward. Unless donors indicate that a gift is restricted, all gifts to OΔK are considered unrestricted.

Restricted Gifts
Restricted gifts indicate how you would like to see your dollars used. You may wish to underwrite a scholarship, a leadership development program, or to fund a guest speaker. These are all examples of restricted gifts. The donor has clear intentions for how his or her money should be spent and OΔK honors those wishes.
