SAB Sessions are webinars sponsored by the Student Advisory Board. The mission of the Student Advisory Board is to connect collegiate and young lifetime members through a variety of programs. Sessions (previously Town Halls) are webinars about topics important to our members. In spring 2024, the SAB will present two Sessions. The first one is “Getting Into Graduate School.” The second is still being planned.

Getting Into Graduate School
Hosted by Fred Koromi (SUNY Plattsburgh, 2007)
Fred has been working in Higher Education since 2009, having first started as an undergraduate admissions counselor, and has been working in the graduate admissions field since 2014. During this time, he has gained experience in recruitment, marketing, admissions operations, international admissions, and working with student-athletes. His role as Director of Graduate Admissions includes overseeing the admissions processes for graduate and health science applicants as well as creating and implementing a graduate recruitment strategy. He is also currently a member of NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management.
