Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation President Sally K. Albrecht (Rollins College, 1975) recently made a blended gift of more than $300,000 including a contribution of $50,000 to fund a post-baccalaureate scholarship for a collegiate member who is a leader in arts as a student or who intends to pursue a degree related to the arts.
Currently, Sally serves as the president of the Omicron Delta Kappa Foundation Board of Trustees. She has been a member of the Scholarship Review and Selection Committee. In addition to supporting the creation of the Albrecht Arts Scholarship, she has generously supported O∆K’s circle operations, the general scholarship program, and the Laura Larissa Morgan (University of Miami) Scholarship. The Miami scholarship will be awarded for the first time during the 2019-20 academic year.
In discussing her devotion to O∆K, Sally said, “Throughout my career as a composer, conductor, and educator, I have witnessed the critical roles that leaders fill in their organizations. Leaders, like musical conductors, set the tone as they work to create balance, harmony, and success through collaboration. The common thread among Omicron Delta Kappa members is their dedication to succeed, to lead, and to make a difference. Now, I’m taking my turn to lead through giving — both of my time and my financial support. Each member can also continue to make a significant difference by supporting our O∆K initiates as they travel on their amazing journeys. I encourage fellow members to give today — and give often.”
