About the Circle
The Harding Circle was formed by Dr. Mike James in the 1994-95 school year with the encouragement of Dr. James F. Carr. Members are highly select individuals with excellence in scholarship and leadership across many areas of campus life. About one percent of the student body is in this premier group each year.
Harding is the only circle in Arkansas, and typically inducts 75-100 select students each Spring.
Programs
Typically, students participate in guest speaker programs, projects with local schools and other community involvement, and sponsorship of a leadership seminar for local high school students of promise.
