We’re busy. We’re very busy. And because we’re so busy, we often don’t appreciate the impact of two simple words: “thank you.”
I hope this year, Thanksgiving signals a little bit more than the end of the semester and the start of gift-buying season. This year, I hope you’ll find occasion to spend time with family and friends, to reflect on what you’re truly thankful for, and to express to those who make a difference in your life how much you appreciate them.
Just say “thank you.” There’s nothing fancy about it. But that simple phrase can make all the difference in expressing your genuine appreciation for someone’s care.
Don’t limit your personal thanksgiving to a single day. Instead, commit to expressing your thanks year-round. You’ll be surprised how a simple “thank you” can make all the difference in someone’s day.
Here’s wishing you many days of giving (and receiving) “thank yous.”
