The Omicron Delta Kappa Society and Educational Foundation, Inc. is governed by a Board of Trustees made up of volunteers who understand and appreciate the value the Society delivers to collegiate life. The work of the board is supported by six governing committees (Development; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity; Executive; Finance; Governance and Trusteeship; and Mission). The work of the Society is supported by four operating committees (National Awards; National Leadership Conference Planning Team; Scholarship Review and Selection; and Student Advisory Board).
Many individuals who have served with distinction on various governing bodies of the Society. These dedicated volunteers have been honored with the designation of trustee emeritus or trustee emerita. Emeriti trustees may continue to participate to in meetings of the board and participate in deliberations but have no vote and are not counted in computing a quorum at any meeting or in determining the total number of trustees required or permitted by the bylaws. Emeriti trustees may be appointed as voting members of governing or operating committees.
The members of the Student Advisory Board (as noted above, also an operating committee of the Society) provide input on the perspective of currently enrolled collegiate members and recent graduates.
A dedicated group of staff members, led by the President and Chief Executive Officer, manage the day-to-day operations of the Society.
