By checking this box, I understand and agree to present a Skill Development session. The Skill Development track is designed to provide attendees with a defined and complete skill training program that can be completed in one session.
Choose which skill you will be teaching. The Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Educations defines a skill (or competency) "as a proficiency, facility, or dexterity that is acquired or developed through training or experience. Skills are developed through experiential learning. Skills must be practiced in order to be maintained. " The 2022 NLC is using this framework for our Skills Training | Skills Development track. Sessions in this track will be 90 minutes and the attendee must learn at least the rudiments of that skill during the session.
Select all that apply.
Have you previously presented at a conference? (New presenters are encouraged. This information will not be used as proposal evaluation criteria for acceptance.)
Have you given this presentation at a previous conference? Presentations on new topics are always encouraged but the use of previous presentations is permitted.
Type or paste your presentation proposal in the box below. Include the complete title of the presentation, but do not include your name in this proposal.
