A native of Hanover, Pennsylvania, Carl Shaffer Davidson was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and a student instructor in civil engineering at the time of Omicron Delta Kappa’s founding. He was the first secretary for the Alpha Circle. As an undergraduate, he was also a recipient of the University Scholarship in civil engineering. His career took him to York, Pennsylvania, where he was a practicing civil engineer.
