About the Circle
Founded in 2013 by a group of passionate Fontbonne University staff and students, the Fontbonne ODK circle began to grow immediately, and just three years later, continues to have a robust membership and programming schedule. Members are tapped in both fall and spring, the organization meets once each month, and executive leadership meets weekly. The organization has become a valuable and meaningful part of the Fontbonne community.
Programs
Our programming revolves around the five pillars of Omicron Delta Kappa: Scholarship (films, guest speakers), Journalism, Speech and Mass Media (the Last Lecture series, featuring Fontbonne faculty); Creative and Performing Arts (Snowcoming, a winter event with arts, crafts and live entertainment); Athletics (volleyball tournaments); and Campus Engagement (the Griffin Series of Pop Culture). In addition, the circle explores ways to serve the community, creating cause awareness through Lead By Example events, or participating as a team in Fontbonne’s annual day of service.
