Earlier this week, I spent Monday’s snow day sending personalized letters to the student presidents of our Circles across the country inviting them to attend this summer’s ODK Biennial Convention and Centennial Celebration. As of today, the start of the convention is only 96 days away (and yes, the national headquarters’ team is counting them down).
As I was putting the finishing touches on each letter, one by one, I noticed the frequency of some first names and the uniqueness of others. I figure that in 1993 and 1994, there might have been a sale on the names Megan and Michael. We apparently have a number of student presidents with one of those two names. Other popular names included Sarah and Andrew. The word cloud below represents the distribution of names.
There is certainly some variety in there including one president named Itzel (president of the Georgian Court University Circle). I’m looking forward to meeting all of these great student leaders this summer.
