January 31, 2023 – Closing date for applications and nominations.
February/March 2023 – Search committee selects semi-finalist candidates; virtual meetings held with search committee and semi-finalists; complete in-person meetings with search committee co-chair, finalists, and National Headquarters personnel in Lexington, Virginia; provide local/regional real estate tour if candidates have an interest
April 12, 2023 – Search concludes, and Board of Trustees vote on appointing new President/CEO at quarterly meeting
July 1, 2023 – Proposed official start date for new President/CEO
