The schedule for elections is determined by the Board of Trustees. Below is a tentative schedule for the 2025 election cycle. All dates are subject to change.
November 18 – Call for nominations and self-nominations distributed by email to all sitting Faculty Advisors and Circle Coordinators
Nominees are required to submit a nomination form; personal statement (500-700 words) about the nominee’s interest in serving Omicron Delta Kappa, leadership philosophy, the purpose for running, and goals for the Society’s future; resume/curriculum vita (in PDF format with personal contact information removed); and professional headshot digital photograph
January 21 – Nominations close
February 1 – Preliminary candidates identified; initial screening interviews (by phone) between February 15 – 28
March/April Board Nominations Committee Meeting – final recommendation by committee decided and forwarded to the Board of Trustees.
April 16 – Final Selection of the Board of Trustees.
April 21 – Results announced
July 1 – Term begins
