Membership Application Reminders
☑️ Reject Applicants
Circle officers must reject any remaining applicants after the certificate order is submitted. (This includes anyone who was accepted but never paid their fees.) This allows individuals to apply again if they wish and clears the application management dashboard for the next process. OΔK no longer conducts mass rejection of outstanding applicants. Applicants cannot be moved from one initiation to another; they must be rejected and reapply.
📅 Remember Midnight Deadline
When creating the application deadlines, remember the closing deadline is at 00:00:01 on the day you select. This means the application closes at 12:00:001 a.m. and will not be available that day. Make sure to provide the correct date to your applicants.

📖 Special Membership Application
The Special Membership Application should be used for honorary and surprise initiations. We recommend that you email your circle contact before completing the Special Application to ensure the membership requirements are met.

💵 Local Dues Payment
When OΔK collects local dues as part of the national payment, the circle will be paid 30 days after the ceremony. This is to ensure that no refunds or other corrections are made to the certificate order or local dues payments.
👩🏽💼Officer Update/Changes
Officers who are changing roles but have already completed the Circle Officer Agreement and MyODK training should NOT complete a new Circle Officer Agreement. Email [email protected] so OΔK staff can make the updates to the system.
New officers MUST complete the Circle Officer Agreement and complete MyODK training.

Annual and Legacy Membership Program
We receive many inquiries about the new Annual and Legacy membership program. Officers should direct members with questions about the program to the Membership Status web page or to [email protected]. Renata Stankowska, Assistant Director for Membership Services, will respond to them.
