MyODK Updates
Member Directory is live!
One of the significant features of the MyODK Membership Engagement Platform is the Member Directory. The directory is now live. The directory provides active members access to more than 175,000 members in MyODK. We will send emails encouraging members to update their MyODK profile to add details about their education and work. The more information that OΔK members share, the more robust the search features of the directory. This is a benefit OΔK members have never had – the ability to connect with other members through a national database.
OΔK Launches Active Membership Program
In March 2025, OΔK will officially launch the new Active Membership Program. Initiates of Omicron Delta Kappa, hold a lifetime membership in our honor society, and their achievements will be recognized. However, looking to the future, we must acknowledge that ΟΔΚ cannot sustainably finance our organization and support our programs and services without diversified revenue. We cannot continue to rely on the fees of student initiates as the primary source of income. For generations, lifetime members have had access to member benefits and services without any requirement to contribute to the Society after the initiation fee.
After careful review and many years of discussion, Omicron Delta Kappa will now ask our members to support the work of the Society through a renewing membership fee. The reactivation fee can be paid annually or through a one-time Legacy Membership payment. The result will be four statuses for our Lifetime Members. You can read about that new program and new fees here. Most importantly, Circle Officers will have no reactivation fees while you serve as an Advisor or Student Officer.
MyODK Reports
We have finalized the reporting section of MyODK. Read about MyODK reports in the Circle Officers Handbook
MyODK and Circle Officer Training
Good News! OΔK Officer Training and MyODK Circle Officer Training will move to self-paced online training beginning February 1, 2025. We are nearly ready to launch the Google Classroom site. Beginning February 1, 2025, any officer who has not completed MyODK training will have their Circle Executive Dashboard suspended until they complete it. You can sign up here for January webinars.
Omicron Delta Kappa’s 17th National Day of Service is April 12, 2025
Circles can integrate this theme into their Signature Service Project by collaborating with local organizations, hosting events, and supporting agencies, or organizing donation drives and tutoring programs. A Circle Programming Guide is available for planning.

Circle Leader of the Year
The Circle Leader of the Year allows active circles to recognize one circle member as an outstanding leader for the circle and the campus. The submission process for 2024-25 is now open. The Circle Leader of the Year (CLOY) recognition is no longer a gateway to the National Leader of the Year. For that reason, the CLOY process has been moved to the spring. Circles are still expected to select a CLOY – a person dedicated to the circle’s leadership and success. The circle then notifies the National Headquarters of its selection. The CLOY recipients will receive a signed certificate suitable for framing, be recognized on the O∆K website and through social media, and be recognized at the National Leadership Conference. We hope to have every circle select a Circle Leader of the Year in 2025.
Submissions for the CLOY open on January 1, 2025, and close on May 31, 2025.
