2019-20 Honoris Causa and Alumni Initiates

Each year, Omicron Delta Kappa circles recognize campus, community, civic, and alumni leaders with honoris causa (honorary) and alumni membership in the Society. These circles work closely with the leadership of their host institutions to identify those individuals who are significant leaders in their respective fields and have an important relationship with the college or university. On occasion, a circle will invite a prospective honoris causa or alumni member to speak at an initiation ceremony and take the opportunity to induct this individual at that time.

In 2019-20, O∆K welcomed numerous notable leaders into circles around the country. This year’s alumni and honoris causa leaders included Daniel Wubah, president of Millersville University; Jill Ellis, former coach of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer team; Lt. Gen. Walt Ulmer, retired military leader and former executive director of the Center for Creative Leadership; John X. Miller Jr., senior editor for ESPN; and Allie Swanson, Miss Nebraska 2019.
