The local circles (chapters) determine membership in Omicron Delta Kappa. Each circle has its unique process for recruiting and initiating members based on national criteria.
You may have received an invitation from the circle at your institution requesting that you complete the Omicron Delta Kappa national membership application. All prospective members of OΔK must complete the national membership application in addition to any applications or submissions required by the local circle.
Our circle officers on your campus are here to guide you through the local process. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to them for any assistance. You can easily find the circle on your campus here.
The one-time National Initiation Fee for each member is $94.00. This membership is a valuable investment in your personal and professional growth. Circles may also require local dues or fees paid directly to the circle.
Start Your Application
- Go to MyODK (https://my.odk.org)
- Select SIGN IN
- Select Register Now!
- Enter your email address (this is to verify your unique email).
- You will receive a verification email. Be sure to check your spam.
- Complete your registration and set up your profile.
- When you are logged in to MyODK, select “Apply for Membership” on the homepage
- Begin completing your application. If you have further questions about the application, review the Steps to Apply guide.

Please note: Creating an account in MyODK and/or submitting an application does not suffice for membership in OΔK. You must be accepted and approved by a circle and attend an initiation ceremony before you are considered a full member of Omicron Delta Kappa.
If the circle has not activated an application, you can create your profile, but you will need to wait until the circle’s application is live to begin to apply.
