The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) sponsors summer programs based in Washington, D.C. Each program includes academic credit through George Mason University, an internship placement, furnished on-campus housing, guest lectures, and site briefings as well as professional development and networking events.
O∆K members receive priority admissions and a minimum of a $2,000 scholarship, and may receive more based on level of financial need and merit. There are full scholarships available – TFAS awards more than $1 million in scholarships each year, and 85% of students receive an award.
The priority admissions deadline for Summer 2023 programs is Feb. 9, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the final deadline of March 14. Want to know more? Check out TFAS’s Digital View Book, or watch a one-minute video. Ready to apply? Start here.
