What is MyODK? MyODK is a Member Engagement Platform (MEP) that provides members with 24/7 access to stay connected and engaged with OΔK throughout their lifetime. MyODK is powered by aarwinMEP, developed by Systems. Do I have to be a member to use it? Yes. MyODK is for members and prospective members only. Individuals seeking membership in Omicron Delta Kappa will use MyODK for the application process. Once selected, members use MyODK to access their personal profiles, register for events and programs, and maintain connections to members throughout the OΔK network. How do I find MyODK? Links to MyODK are found on the OΔK Homepage in the top navigation bars. The direct URL for MyODK is my.odk.org. How do I log into MyODK? Go to my.odk.org. Enter your username and password if you have already activated your account. If you have not activated your account, follow the instructions under “Not Registered Yet?” Can I cancel my MyODK account? Yes, but please contact OΔK National Headquarters staff first at (540) 458-5336. We want to know why you want to cancel and will help you complete the process. What is the benefit of being an active MyODK user? Omicron Delta Kappa offers exclusive benefits to members through the MyODK portal. Active members log in to MyODK to access exclusive membership discounts, scholarships, career resources, publications, registration for events like the National Leadership Conference, and Discord, our private online community. Do I have to pay an annual fee to access MyODK? MyODK is free to all initiated members. Beginning in 2025, certain member benefits will only be available to Active Members. More information about Active Membership will be available in the fall of 2024. Is the Circle Officer portal different from the member portal? Yes. How do I access MyODK? If you were initiated between 1953 and 2024 and had an active email with Omicron Delta Kappa, we have established a MyODK account for you. You only need to activate it by creating your username and password. You should have received an email from Omicron Delta Kappa with instructions on how to set up your account. Please check your spam or junk mail folder to see if it was redirected. Please note: OΔK staff cannot reset usernames or passwords. You must use the MyODK credential reset at this link. How can I change my password? How can I change my username? I forgot my username or password, who do I contact? Click here to access the “Can’t Access Your Account” page. You will be required to enter the email associated with your account. How do I update my personal information in MyODK? How do I unlock my account? If you attempt to enter the wrong password too many times, your account will be locked for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the account will be unlocked and you may try again. Who do I contact if I did not receive an email from my.odk.org to access my account? If you did not receive an email from my.odk.org to access your MyODK account, please email myodk@odk.org with your name (or name you were initiated under if it has changed), circle of initiation, year of initiation, and email. How do I apply to Omicron Delta Kappa? Follow these simple steps. Do I have to complete all fields on the application? The information on the application has been selected by the circle to which you are applying. Since the circle has included those questions in its application, you should consider all items after the Personal Information section to be required. Please submit any information requested by the circle in the subsequent sections to avoid the denial of the application. Please check with your circle leadership if you have any questions about what is required. The fields with a red asterisk * are required. We recommend the latest Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari browser versions. How will I know the status of my application? Each applicant has an Applicant Dashboard in MyODK. Log in to MyODK and select “Applicant Dashboard” to see the status of your application. What happens if I am not accepted? Applicants who are not accepted by the circle will be able to keep their login credentials for one year. This will enable them to apply again if they are invited. How do I use MyODK for networking? In the coming months, MyODK will introduce a member directory, allowing members to search for and connect further through online communities like LinkedIn and Discord. This feature aims to foster more robust community engagement and facilitate networking opportunities among members. How do I join the OΔK Discord Community? To join the Discord community, you must “Opt-In” for online community access. You will then be prompted to complete the Code of Conduct to join the network, and once completed, you will receive an email with the access link to OΔK’s Discord server. Be sure to check your spam folder! How do I access member benefit codes and coupons? After you have signed into MyODK, click on the member benefits link on the homepage. This will open the secure member benefits pages, where you can access codes and coupons. How do I find other OΔK members in MyODK? MyODK will have a member directory feature coming in late fall 2024. We are asking members to activate and update their profiles first. Then when we launch the Member Directory part of the portal, the updated information will allow members to more accurately find and network with other members across the Society.Networking through MyODK
