Welcome Aboard!
The Omicron Delta Kappa Society and Educational Foundation, Inc. has called Lexington, Virginia, home since 2010.
OΔK was founded at Reid Hall on the campus of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, on December 3, 1914. After being headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, for many years, OΔK moved back to Lexington, Virginia, and purchased the Lexington Train station from Washington and Lee University with the generous support of many donors. Read more about the history and features of our home.
During the centennial celebration in 2014, OΔK symbolically burned the mortgage as the Society paid off the property and became owners free and clear.
On April 26, 2018, Omicron Delta Kappa dedicated a marker designating the Society’s founding. The marker stands at the entrance to the National Headquarters.
In 2022, OΔK completed a significant renovation to the building. The Joyce E. and Richard S. Johnson Center for Leadership and the Omicron Delta Kappa Society and Educational Foundations, Inc. was rededicated on November 5, 2022.
The National Headquarters includes the offices of the Lexington-based staff, the Latture Library and Conference Room, and the offices of the Historic Lexington Foundation.
We encourage our members to visit us whenever they pass through the area.
