Program Reports
This is a reminder to submit your Program Reports for your Signature Leadership Program, Signature Service Project, and any other program or service project in which the circle is active. O∆K policy states circles must complete the program report within 60 days of the program’s completion for these to be counted toward Circle Minimum Standards.
Photographs are strongly encouraged for these events, and they may be featured on the O∆K website, in The Circle magazine, or on social media. Read more about Signature Programs here.
OΔK Online Communities
Elevate your circle officer experience by joining our Discord server—an innovative communication platform ideal for connecting with your circle, networking with members across the country, and unlocking vibrant opportunities within O∆K. As a circle officer, check out our Circle-Leadership channel and connect with circle officers from different campuses. Be sure to explore the Speakers-Network channel for O∆K talent when planning your next engagement, and let a moderator know if you would like to start a channel for your circle to keep in touch with all your members. Check out more details on Discord here and complete the Code of Conduct for access to the server. Feel free to reach out to renata@odk.org for additional information. Join us!
Circle Leader of the Year
Remember to select and submit your Circle Leader of the Year. We hope to have every circle select a Circle Leader of the Year in 2024.
The Circle Leader of the Year (CLOY) honor is no longer a gateway to the NLOY. For that reason, the CLOY process has been moved to the winter and spring. Circles are still expected to select a CLOY – a person dedicated to the circle’s leadership and success. The circle then notifies the National Headquarters of its selection. The CLOY recipients will receive a signed certificate suitable for framing, be recognized on the O∆K website and through social media, and be recognized at the National Leadership Conference.
Submissions for the CLOY open on January 1, 2024, and close on May 31, 2024.
National Circle
The Omicron Delta Kappa Board of Trustees approved the chartering of the National Circle in 2021. The National Circle is an Omicron Delta Kappa (OΔK) circle that seeks to engage leaders at institutions where we have not yet established a campus-based circle. The National Circle is open to students, faculty, and staff who are not otherwise eligible to join Omicron Delta Kappa because they are currently enrolled or work at a college or university without an active circle. You may read more about the National Circle at this link.
The National Circle will begin recruiting its charter class in March 2024, with an anticipated chartering date of April 18, 2024.
We encourage the leadership and members of our campus circles to let your friends, relatives, and colleagues who may be enrolled or work at campuses without an OΔK circle consider the National Circle. We will seek the same excellence in leadership from these individuals as you do on your campus. We hope that individuals selected for the National Circle can be ambassadors to their campus in hopes of establishing additional campus-based circles.
We are also looking for current OΔK members to assist with the start-up of the National Circle. If you are interested in helping with recruitment, member selection, or other aspects of the National Circle, contact Brent Anderson at brent@odk.org.

UPDATE: The launch of MyODK has been delayed to ensure that all the necessary components are working and we have time to train circle officers on the various functions.
At this time, we are not anticipating the launch of the circle portal until later in 2024. Circles will continue to use MMS for the remainder of this academic year. Circles that wish to start their fall membership process this spring will need to reach out to their circle contact about starting the process in MyODK. We are hoping to launch the member portal in April.
We are sorry that the launch date keeps getting pushed back. We prefer a fully developed product and circle officers trained to use it.
