Omicron Delta Kappa is proud to celebrate Gregory R. Singleton, a leader whose decades of service to higher education and fraternal life have left an indelible mark on countless students and organizations. Most recently, Greg was selected as the 2025 recipient of the Fraternity Executives Association (FEA) Order of Fraternal Excellence Award. This prestigious honor is presented to a college or university administrator who has demonstrated sustained, outstanding professional achievement in support of the college fraternity experience.
Greg currently serves as Dean of Student Affairs at the College of Lake County, where his work reflects a deep commitment to student success, inclusion, and well-being.
A lifelong champion of fraternity and sorority life, Greg is the National Scholarship Officer for Kappa Alpha Order National Fraternity and a past president of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA). His leadership in these organizations has influenced programs, policies, and generations of student leaders nationwide.
Greg’s connection to Omicron Delta Kappa began as an undergraduate at the University of Memphis, where he served as president of his circle. Since then, he has held numerous volunteer leadership positions, including Faculty/Staff Trustee on the Omicron Delta Kappa Society and Educational Foundation Board of Trustees, Chair of the Mission Committee, Circle Coordinator, Province VIII Director, Faculty Advisor, and Awards Chair for the National Circle. In June 2023, after years of distinguished service, he was named Trustee Emeritus.
His dedication has been recognized with OΔK’s Eldridge W. Roark Meritorious Service Award and the Morlan-Bishop Outstanding Circle Advisor Award. Beyond OΔK, Greg’s professional and volunteer contributions span roles at the University of Memphis, Purdue University, University of Miami, Austin Peay State University, and within numerous professional associations including NASPA, Mortar Board Senior Honorary, and the Southeastern Interfraternity Conference.
Whether mentoring students, guiding organizations, or advocating for equity and inclusion, Greg leads with the heart of a servant leader—a principle that has guided his decades of work in higher education and community service.
Omicron Delta Kappa congratulates Greg on his well-deserved recognition by the Fraternity Executives Association and thanks him for his extraordinary contributions to our Society and the broader student leadership community.
