Many times collegiate and alumni OΔK members have asked how they can reach out to other members to mentor or be mentored. OΔK no longer offers an online mentor matching program; however, we still believe mentoring is an important role seasoned OΔK members can provide for newer members.
Serving as a mentor or becoming a mentee can help you direct your future, expand your professional network, gain knowledge and perspective on the workplace, deliver tremendous personal satisfaction, and connect with OΔK members to strengthen our Society.
We recommend you read the FAQ pages provided for tips on best practices for identifying and engaging mentors or for serving as a mentor. We have a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Mentors, Ten Tips for Mentees, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Protégés (Mentees).
We are more than willing to assist you when we can identify or introduce you to other OΔK members. If you are interested in finding a mentor or serving as a mentor, contact Timothy Reed, vice president for membership and operations, tim@odk.org.
