Meet Peter Christiaans, a seasoned leader and dedicated member of Omicron Delta Kappa since 1993. Peter’s journey began at the University of Miami, where he earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Master of Business Administration degrees.
Currently serving as the Board chair and chair of O∆K’s Executive Committee, Peter’s commitment to excellence shines through his role as an at-large trustee, concluding in June 2025.
With over two decades of experience in technology and management consulting, Peter brings invaluable expertise to his role as a director at Huron Consulting. His proficiency spans various sectors, including healthcare, higher education, and financial services, where he specializes in leading complex client engagements, notably cloud-based ERP systems implementations.
Peter’s contributions extend beyond the professional realm; he has served as a board member and Finance Committee Chair for ISACA, a global nonprofit organization focusing on information systems development and governance. His multifaceted skill set includes IT strategy, program and project management, mergers and acquisitions, and enterprise architecture.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Peter remains actively involved in numerous associations, such as HIMSS, PMI, and ACHE, underscoring his dedication to continuous learning and industry engagement.
Originally from Curaçao in the Dutch Caribbean, Peter, alongside his wife Sandra Parras, resides in Miami. With dual citizenship in the US and the Netherlands, Peter’s global perspective enriches his contributions to both professional and community initiatives.
